I thought, if each manufacturer has his own label, why not me? I also produce something! So I build a header for the soldering iron (thanks Günni!), with which I now decorate my sewing.

Last week the portlights arrived – Jihaa!! I buyed them on “Hanseboot” for exhibition price.

The first part of sewing is finished! During the winter the cockpit tent, the sail dress, the railing dress, the tiller dress, two covers for the winches and the sleeve protection for the roller furled genoa shall be sewn. The swim ladder needed a revision. So break it down and make an inventory.  Two steps are in order, two must be patched and one must be build new. After all steps had passed through the thickness planer, new pieces of teak were fitted and glued to the steps. The new stage was roughly cut. Then the grooves were milled again. Ultimately, everything sanded, oiled and put back together. So the swim ladder can be refitted to Fuchur in spring.

This weekend I spend with maintaining the ropes. All pods, halyards, moorings and other ropes are washed and ready for the next season.

October 11. 2014. Today was one of the sadder days of the season. In the crack of dawn the mast was placed. A sure sign that the season is over for this year.
